Martingale

Martingale is a staking strategy where the bettor doubles the stake after each losing bet to recover previous losses with one win.

It is a high-risk progression system.

How it works

• Start with a base stake

• After each loss, the next stake is doubled

• One winning bet recovers all losses plus profit equal to the base stake

Example

• Bet 1: $10 (loss)

• Bet 2: $20 (loss)

• Bet 3: $40 (win)
  → Net profit: $10

• Rapid stake growth during losing streaks

• Requires a large bankroll

• Often restricted by betting limits

Important note
Martingale can quickly lead to bankroll exhaustion and is not a sustainable long-term strategy.
