Juice (Vigorish)

Juice, also called vigorish, is the commission built into betting odds that ensures the bookmaker makes a profit.

It is essentially the bookmaker’s fee for offering the market.

How it works

• Odds are adjusted so total implied probability exceeds 100%

• The excess percentage is the juice

• Higher juice means worse value for the bettor

• Implied probabilities total 104%

• Juice = 4%
