Quarter Handicap

A quarter handicap is a betting line expressed in 0.25 or 0.75 increments that splits a single stake into two separate handicap bets.

It is a core part of Asian Handicap markets.

How it works

• The stake is divided 50/50 across two adjacent handicap lines

• Possible outcomes include half win, half loss, or half refund

• Removes all-or-nothing settlement

Example

• Bet: Team A -0.25

• Stake: $100 → $50 on 0.0 and $50 on -0.5

• Draw → half stake refunded, half lost

• Team A wins → full win
